From ym experience it has been more or less the same for years. top tier air rb spotting has been terrible for me and very inconsistent, sometimes ill spot someone 2 miles out snd other times i wont spot them until their past me after a head on. As the other comment said, its mostly in top tier jets where u get absolutely shafted by a missile ...Also fights in Air RB generally start at 4-5km up while ground is sea level -1.5km, so planes that perform very well at low alt do very well (russian planes and the p-39/p-63, ect) while higher alt planes don't get to shine as much. The P-63A is a good all around plane. Good climb, speed, turn, decent armament (the 37mm is a bit inconsistent).
