I read that vega and sola toroids drop from the spaceport and temple of profit enemies but after hours and hours of farming at each i havent gotten any of either of them and im starting to wonder if im doing something wrong. ... Sola Toroid is one of the many types of rare drops known as Toroids in Warframe. These rare drops are pretty useful, and you will eventually need to farm them at some point. A Sola Toroid can be traded in for 1,000 Standing with Vox Solaris. The toroids are best farmed around the locations where enemies can drop them. Get some alert beacons to be placed before killing stuff then annihilate whatever spawns. Fairly quick and easy to get them that way. If the spawnrate/scaling feels to high, simply kill off the alert beacons to keep it at a level you like.

Sola Toroid is another Warframe Toroid type that can be obtained from the enemies around the Temple of Profit. It has about 20 percent of the chance to drop ...Got none.
