Takedown lever stuck. Installed a Tactical Trigger LLC kit and went to function check it.. the trigger will not break, likely because I need to remove one of the over-travel pieces.. The problem is that I cannot rotate my takedown lever in order to fix the issue.. The slide will not go forward on an empty magazine because the slide catch lever and the follower are both able to stop it. If you strike the bottom of any magazine hard enough you may be able to get the slide catch lever to release the slide.

Pulled the FCU out. Very easy process. Went to put it back together and noticed the takedown lever is locked in the 6 o'clock position. There is a little play in it from about 7 o'clock to 5 o'clock, but at 5 it wont budge back into the 3 o'clock position. Feels like it hits a wall.Yes. Same deal when reinstalling the slide. I must hold the lever down or the slide hangs up. Issue? Normal?

If it does, then continue holding the lock lever up and rotate the take down lever back to the 6 o'clock, double check the transfer safety position then try the slide again while pushing up on the lock lever. Had quals today and while cleaning the trigger control module I may have screwed up my slide stop lever or a spring attached to it. Trigger control module went back in correctly and reassembled it and the slide is now locked back. No amount of tension will seem to get the slide lock lever to drop down. ….

The P365 magazine springs are stiff at first. You won't encounter nearly as much resistance when the magazine is loaded, of course, and obviously if you remove the magazine, no problem.
