I just did some light testing in the shield maze using the toolbox mod to give myself various abilities relating to charging, testing on some of the crazed mongrels in the flooded basement area.

My first thought is a shield-bashing Cavalier of the Paw. Light shields work with Weapon Finesse; main hand is a rapier or whatever's your favorite Finesse-able weapon. Glad you're having fun! I'm enjoying my Cavalier as well but I think some of the feats are broken. I wanted to tank with my horse by taking advantage of the "Mounted Combat" feat which is supposed to negate an enemy attack each round provided you pass a mobility check but I'm looking at my combat log and this seems to only ever happen when the enemy has already missed theirMost Important Ability Scores: Focus on Strength and Consitution as opposed to Dexterity for this build, which is about distracting the enemy rather than doing damage.
