You will draw plenty of shieldguards from mystery shards to max him out that way.Fellhound also has a power that does team reflect, 15% for 2 turns on a 4 turn cooldown, upgradeable to 2 turns with 2 books. I did some testing of Fellhound with my Fire Knight team and the reflect really helps. I run a counterattack team with skullcrusher and adding the reflect makes the Fire Knight much easier.
