After installing a rubber flap on only one auger (using self-tapping screws) and trimming it a couple times, I went back out and tried again. Due to the moisture content of the snow, the blower was a virtual slush pump. Jan 31, 2012 · Loosen the 4 chain tensioning bolts in the rear. Remove chain from small sprocket. Loosen set screw on big sprocket. Remove big sprocket with puller. Loosen set screw on locking collar. Remove 3 bolts that hold the bearing retainer for the impeller shaft. Walk the auger and impeller assembly out the front.
