I am back playing DS2 after a bit of time, and wanted to fire up a Hex build, since I never really done one before. I have been playing around a bit with it, and at the soft-cap 30/30 for Dark damage, wielding a dark roaring halberd. I just got the crypt blacksword, and will be playing with that a bit too. .

With hard caps, there is extremely little benefit in allocating additional stat. The only time you’d want to allocate more is if you’re hard-capped on everything else.
