In my opinion, these are the most accurate yet highest devastating bullet I can find for my Knights. The problem is, it seems that Barnes has them out of stock for the last two years. .

Sometimes that burnt patch means you are using too "hot" of a load, try backing down on your load in 5grain increments.

Its all about what bullet, like the powder choice, works for you. For paper I use XTPs in my 50's and 45 cal. On meat I use Barnes bullets. The .45 bullet line-up is a lot healthier than the .40 bullets selection, unless, as mentioned, you step into the custom bullet market or start using cast lead.Barnes considers .499-.501 to be "small bores" and .502-.504 to be "large bores". The T-EZ packaged with blue MMP HPH 24 sabots is marketed for "small bores". By substituting the MMP HPH 12 sabot, the T-EZ will properly fit the "large bores". The TMZ packaged with yellow boattail sabots is marketed for "large bores".
