Never see any love for Scanners on here. My nephew saw the cover of Scanners while poking through my movie collection when he was around 6-7 years old and he said “well this movie is probably pretty dangerous for kids, huh” and then put it back. New Criterion blu-rays in physical stores in Europe are always going to be more expensive than ordering online because there is no official distribution of Criterion releases in Europe (not taking into account the UK Criterion releases). So if a store would want to carry Criterion releases it would have to depend on the ...criterion collection rules, but god there are so many options i spend more time looking for something than actually watching. by far my favorite streaming service though, only one worth it! i think it might be leaving this month, watch a couple from the joh garfield collection!! humoresque, postman rings twice, force of evil all are really good.
