If you have someone operate the 3 point up and down and watch from the rear you should be able to see the arm moving and the rod that should be connected.So it seems likely to me that if you have hydraulic deck lift it is hooked to those ports and you would have to switch back and forth with the knob to raise the mower or the 3pt (same lever) but would not be able to raise them at the same time.
