Litter-robot 4 cat sensor fault
I initially had the same issue until I removed some litter, and it was fine for a few days. Now it’s back throwing cat sensor faults every single time it cycles no matter how much litter is in it. I’ve cleaned the laser sensors and click the reset button constantly. Reached out to support several days ago and haven’t gotten any response.Spent $800 on this and it constantly goes off meaning our 2 cats have no litter box to use until we get home to manually finish the cycle, on top of the smell of cat waste welcoming us as we walk through the door since there's a pile of cat poop and pee just being exposed to the air.

The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. Latest firmware updates seem to have resolved early sensor fault issues with my LR4, smooth sailing the past two weeks or so. However, whenever I refill litter I get a Cat Sensor Fault…should I be clearing the sensor or pressing a certain button when I refill?
The cat sensor works by getting a constant voltage if the voltage change just the slightest it will think there is a cat inside. When the pressure resistor stoppes working it either gets too high resistance or the value keeps changing. Bought (another) LR3, a extra sensor, followed the guide to protect the IC.
