The attack bonus (stam A+) did 8342. So I was definitely getting more with the attack bonus (stat). Definitely keeping that stat on my weapon. I will try this out again once I get weapons to +99 to see if there is any difference. I guess maybe if I get a stark skill with active skill damage, then maybe it will be better.The main drawback of switchglaive (aside from having a bad early game experience lol) is that it lacks individually super strong moves like moonlit snow/redux on odachi (with the exception of cyclone I suppose) so it can feel less obvious how to make the most out of e.g. nuking a zero ki enemy that most other weapons have straightforward ...

Masterful Strike, main ki breaker combo * mid light + Mind's Eye + Switch Stance: Retribution + ki breaker combo, main dps when engaged * Infinite Retribution w. best damage boost, burst dps vs unmoving out-of-ki enemy, either when they're cornered or downed.Odachi is the best against humans. Spear is perhaps tying up with Switchglaive as my favorite weapon in Nioh 2. With so many good skills, I think it's Team Ninja's pet weapon, lol! Anyway, try Red Demon or Warrior of the East, then add a second set like Mataza. Tried those and they kill it especially with the Twisting Spear skill. I have a slightly different opinion:-. Having a secondary weapons helps in more ways than completing sets. e.g:- Switchglaive is great against human enemies and decent against Yokai. Splitstaff is Yokai melter and decent against humans.. both scale with magic as primary stat. Having two weapons is here for a reason and not just a filler.
