Apr 15, 2016 · Today on Scrapin' we remove the governor on our 212cc predator engine (honda clone). You would want to do this if you want some more rpms out of your engine. This will void your waranty. You may also want to do this if you disabled the governor but havent removed it. If you dont remove it, at the higher rpms the plastic governor can shatter and ... Cut the conduit first. Run your cable where you actually want it to go. Leave a little slack that can be trimmed later. Try to cut the excess cable after it is installed if you can.
