Confused on how school pips work still? As the title suggests I’m just trying to understand how this system works. For reference I am a level 101 death wiz, 102 power pip chance and 80 arch mastery. However today I was trying to farm mirror lake, made a small deck of SoF that requires a death pip since people are usually in groups spamming aoes.The value of scarecrow is less in the damage than in the healing. In a group fight against four opponents, you get a TON of health back. I have seen necromancers down well below half health recharge to full time after time with scarecrow. AFAIK, scarecrow is the only attack all version of health steal in the game.Square - flat resist (PvE and PvP) Triangle - Pip jewel (PvE and PvP) Circle - Crit (PvE) Pierce (PvP, also viable in PvE, just comes down to preference) Tear - Health (PvE and PvP) It depends on your class and what you're going for. It doesn't make sense for ice, who is meant to have weaker hits (although they shouldn't be necessarily bad hits) to have the strongest aoe in the game at 1190 for max pips. ….
