As for me I had huge trouble for the first hours of Sekiro, it wasn't until Genichiro i started getting the hang of deflects. At that point the game became 10x more fun. sekiro might be a tad harder if you arent used to souls. if you are a souls vet and then going to sekiro will be much harder. sekiro doesnt have leveling so you cant be op. sekiro is really fast and the combat is 90% parrying and 10% countering these certain attacks, dodging is not recommended at all. its a completely dofferent playstyle. id ...Slightly slower right to left sword slash, then overhead slash- dodge the first slash, then run at him and attack a few times. Sekiro is a work of art. That game isn't just a deflect simulator. The world, the art direction, the set piece bosses, secrets, endings, story, etc. On top of that the combat is far more polished than Wo Long's and the bosses are way more interesting and memorable.
