You don't say but ignition switch wiring is different for each setup. Front mount uses the OEM Ballast Resistor, the side mount does not. The white ceramic resistor you show in your circuit is not the OEM Ballast Resistor. It is only used when switching to a 12V system and you keep the original 6V Coil.
